1. Carrier Liability & Cargo Limits

Under the Carmack Amendment, our liability for loss or damage is clearly defined to protect both parties. Unless otherwise negotiated in writing, Daniels Storage and Delivery Services Incorporated maintains standard cargo insurance limits. Are you shipping high-value electronics or specialty machinery? Please ensure you've declared the full value prior to dispatch so we can adjust coverage accordingly.

2. Transit Times & Force Majeure

While our dispatch team works 24/7 to ensure on-time delivery, Daniels Storage and Delivery Services Incorporated isn't responsible for delays caused by acts of God, severe weather, or port congestion. We provide estimated windows, not guaranteed minutes. Logistics is a dynamic world, but we'll always keep you updated through our real-time tracking portal.

All claims for loss or damage must be filed within 9 months of delivery, as per industry standards. We require original BOL documentation and photographic evidence. Don't worry, our claims department is efficient, but they do require the paperwork to be in order.

Liability caps are strictly enforced based on the weight or freight class of the shipment unless a higher value is declared and the corresponding premium is paid. We recommend all our partners review their internal insurance policies to bridge any gaps for specialized freight.
